Quick Breakfast Ideas

We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, nonetheless it can be hard to find the time to prepare it.

My favorite “quick” breakfast ideas

  1. Boiled Eggs & Greens drink
  2. Egg White & Vegetable Omelet
  3. Protein Oatmeal

Option 1 (on the left):

2 boiled eggs

Greens plus

(can add small apple or other fruit if desired)

This one is the quickest & easiest of the bunch. Pre peeled hard boiled eggs are great to have on hand & Greens+ is an excellent way to sneak vegetables & fruit into your morning. Don’t be afraid to add a small piece of fruit to this for more carbohydrates. In case you were wondering…. yes, Greens+ is green when you mix it, but it tastes great! Especially the Wild Berry flavored pictured.

Option 2 (middle):

1/2 cup Egg white & 1 egg omelet

frozen peppers

0.5-1oz cheese

cooked in 1 tsp Coconut Oil

(small fruit optional)

This can be made fresh in the morning, or cooked the night before (just be sure to let it cool down before putting in the in fridge or it gets soggy). It’s also good to have a nice non-stick pan to make sure your omelet doesn’t get stuck (doesn’t have to be expensive- just make sure the surface is slick). Go here for a short video on omelet making. You’ll want to cook the vegetables first, then add them with the cheese as shown in the video.

without fruit: 300-360 calories / 4g carb / 37g protein / 22g fat

Option 3 (right):

1/2 cup oatmeal

1 scoop Vanilla whey protein

Cinnamon to taste

This is so easy & so yummy! mix the ingredients in a bowl with water, cook for 1 minute, stir & then for another 30-45 seconds- DONE!
